I taught some great specialty classes this fall and I’m planning my 2006 schedule right now.
I’ve come up with a list of ideas of classes that I want to teach that I think people will be interested in taking. I’ve also realized that I want the classes to be 4 hours instead of 3 so we can really get some where.
Here’s my ideas so far:
– Direct Feedback/Get Your Ass Kicked with Shana Merlin
-Directing/SideCoaching
-Getting 5’s in Micetro
-Improvised Singing 2
-Being Changed
-Advanced Status and Master Servant Scenes
-Gameplay
-Musical Games
-Improv to Sketch
-Characters
-Physical/Movement
So my question to the Austin Improv community is: What Specialty Classes Would You Like to See?
(I could teach them myself or arrange to have an outside teacher offer them, so don’t limit the ideas.)
What?! No spring or summer workshops? We have to wait until fall?! Phooie! 😉 I’m in favor of a “Directing” workshop as it would be helpful to get more director types involved with the Maestro show.
